It's cool like dat, its col like dat...
So a few weeks ago my friends and I ventured to First Friday in Downtown Honolulu. It was my first, First Friday (yeah I know this is late, Art After Dark is coming up, but better late than never).
Anyway this was a fun adventure. We started off our night at JJ Dolan's. What can I say great pizza, but I'll save the details for another blog. Am I teasing you? If yes, than good!
After a nice meal of pizza in a crowded JJ Dolan's we decided to venture out to the galleries that were open in Downtown that night. One of the galleries actually had an acapella group singing!
We got to see a lot of cool art at the different galleries.
We also got to see a drunken whale!
We made our way through some bars but we ended up at HASR Wine. HASR stands for Highly Allocated Spoiled Rotten. Now I could explain that to you but I wouldn't do it justice so just go to their website at http://www.hasrwineco.com. While at HASR we made some new friends and learned a lot about champagne, the bubbly stuff.
We ventured further, and then called it a night. My first, First Friday is history and the next one is soon arriving! Hope to see you there.
I am a Buddhist who likes sports especially the Cowboys, Dodgers, Phillies, and Longhorns. I like good food and good sake. Of course I am always looking for that occasional inspiration, I am a Buddhist remember! Why am I doing this? I guess its just a social experiment. An attempt to share and communicate with others in a positive way. So if "Its cool like dat, its Col like dat!"
