I bought a bottle of Masumi Nanago “7th Heaven” from my friends at Sake Shop. A unique thing about Masumi is that there is brail on the box and bottle of the sake (not sure why). Nanago is a yamahai junmai daiginjo. Yamahai sakes often have what can be described as a more robust flavor. This full body sake was still smooth and surprisingly easy to drink. I suggest keeping it chilled as you drink it. It went well with both fried foods and sushi. It was the perfect choice for dinner at Sushi Ii...
So I was walking Downtown today and came across this. I guess its National Dance Week. A group of people did a staged dance routine on Fort Street Mall. Although they said that it was supposed to be flash mob I think it was obvious this was a planned promotion for National Dance Week here. There was even an HPD officer standing nearby. Regardless it was entertaining and a random break from people’s workday. Hope you enjoy the video!
